Grzegorz Wróblewski: TATAMI IN KYOTO (2024)
I think of this book as an example of Wróblewski’s challenge to conventional modes of writing and seeing, following his recent co-translated volume I Really Like Lovers of Poetry, his collection of asemic writing Shanty Town, and his visual poem Polowanie [Hunting]. To read Wróblewski’s work today means to experience ever-shifting conceptions of language, image, materiality, and authorship.
